ask us anything
Here’s a guide to our most common questions.
Have one that isn’t below?
Just pop us an email and we’ll be happy to advise on any other queries you have.
How long do the scans take?
This depends upon the complexity of the venue. However, we usually factor in 1 hour per sqm with 1 hour setup and down time.
How do we show the videos?
You will embed some simple code (that we provide) into your website or Facebook page and your videos will be available to view.
Do we just receive the video?
No, we also provide you with dozens of high quality photos and 360° images that Facebook will convert into excellent video marketing videos.
Do I need to attend the scan?
Yes, it is best for you to be present at the shoot so that we can have access to all areas required, as well as discuss any specific requirements you may have.
Can I use the photos and 3D tour on my website?
Yes, absolutely! All images and video footage can be used on your website or part of your digital marketing strategy. The licence is held by Virtronix, so credit will need to given when displaying any images or videos.
Which areas do you service in the UK?
London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
If you are outside of these areas please get in touch with us for a tailored quote.
Do we need fast video hosting?
No, all videos are hosted by us on high-speed servers that ensure quality and reliability.
What are video tags?
We use video tags to provide users with information about a product within the video, for example a kitchen might have an integrated fridge – so we add a tag and include a video within the pop-up about the fridge. We can include a link to a website, PDF, menu, text or a YouTube/Vimeo video
Can virtual tours be edited?
We can define outside areas and delete scans if needed, however, we cannot edit the actual imagery itself after it is complete.
What is the cost?
This is very difficult to answer without understanding the project you have. However we do offer volume discounts and pricing for large industrial units.
We advise that you get in touch for a free consultation and we’ll provide a tailored quote for your needs.
What if I do not like the virtual tour?
Every effort will be made to create a seamless, smooth and well laid out virtual tour for your specific needs.
We ask that you visit our Portfolio page to get a better understanding of what to expect.
Do you shoot inside wardrobes, utility rooms and bathrooms?
We typically scan bathrooms and utility rooms unless they are too small.
We generally don’t shoot inside wardrobes unless it is large walk-in closet, or if it is specifically requested.
